AHA BLS Instructor Course. This course will instruct and train students to become teaching faculty with American Heart Association. This course will go over AHA Program Administration Manual along with the Instructor Essentials Instructor Candidate Workbook. All candidates must finish prerequisites prior to attending class including. Have a BLS provider card, purchase 2020 BLS Instructor Manual, video and BLS provider manual, all students must complete the BLS instructor essentials online found at shopcpr.heart.org After completion of prerequisites, and the in person course students will be evaluated teaching a course themselves. Students must align with a AHA training center or site. Students have the option to align with Stayin Alive Mobile CPR LLC. Upon completion and evaluation of instructing a course students will receive their BLS Instructor certification card which will allow them to instruct BLS and Heartsaver CPR courses themselves.
